In case you're wondering- Here is the full list of rides and experiences we did during our 3 days at Disneyland/California Adventures (1/3, 1/5 and 1/6- the week after the holidays and everyone is still on winter break, but before decorations were taken down- it was BUSY!)
(LL indicates that we booked a lightning lane on Genie+)

(Disneyland Holiday decorations are the best!)
I would say, especially considering the circumstances, we did it all! (Or at least everything that our group wanted to!) I was really happy with what we were able to accomplish in our time there, and that the kids all survived 14+ hour days. Our group consisted of 4 kids (7, 8, 11, 11), myself, and my kid's friend's mother, so 6 of us total! I felt that we made really good use of our Genie+ services, booking lightning lanes efficiently and right when they became available again! We were able to book 7-8 lightning lanes each day, mostly for rides that would typically require a longer wait, so that definitely was a bonus, and we didn't pay more for Individual Lightning Lanes for Rise of the Resistance or Cars.
Day 1- Disneyland- purchased Genie+ once we scanned into the parks

Day 3- Disneyland- No Genie+ today, we already did everything we wanted to! Everything. was bonus today!
